I love ...

Last night's sunset.
And my fuzzy cat.
The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
Twitter! (and not only because of LBD related awesomeness.)
And my mother.
(Especially breakfast in bed.)
Having options.
That some amazing people are willing to do the hard work of writing the books I love.
Today, I even love autumn.

Thanks! It reminds me of a photography question I've been meaning to ask: in this instance, the sky was beautifully colored and it was still light enough to see the colors on the trees, too. But if I focused (wrong term there, can't think of the correct one) on getting the trees looking like they did IRL, the sky was washed out. And if I got the sky right, the trees were silhouetted. Is there a trick to getting both sky and landscape as the eye sees them, or do you just have to do something later in photoshop?

Haha, I hope this question makes sense. I don't know any of the right terms to use!

Yeah it makes sense! The exposure you mean. It's pretty much impossible to get both properly exposed in one photo. Some people will take two or more exposures and layer them in Photoshop or others will expose between ans adjust both. Typically you have to choose one unless you're close enough for flash on the trees or for landscapes some photographers use a filter that dims the top half of the scene to help not blow out the sky.

Okay, this makes me feel better. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some blindingly obvious thing I was missing!
