I can't figure out how to list this on half.com, so I thought I'd offer it here before trying Amazon:

Would anyone like the Life and Writings of C.S. Lewis lecture series from The Great Courses? It's 6 cds + course guidebook, packaged exactly like this ebay listing. I've enjoyed it very much, but I need more space on my Great Courses shelf. :) It's currently on sale from The Teaching Company for $19.95 plus shipping (it's normally $135!), but you can have mine for $12 and no shipping. :)

It's been treated gently and the discs barely even have any superficial scratches. I just listened to all 6 again to make certain everything played and there's no skipping or anything.

This is a public post, so feel free to send your friends over if you know someone who'd be interested!

I'd want it if I didn't own it. I'll put a plug in to say that this is an AWESOME lecture series--the best of the Great Courses that I've heard!

Think Julia would like, Melinda?

If she is into Lewis, she'd love it! The professor takes a Christian angle, and he has some great insights about many of Lewis's works. Garret really enjoyed the series too, and he hasn't read nearly as much Lewis as I have.

I just asked G his opinion, and he said, "It is an awesome course. It's like a Bible study." Lol

She really likes Lewis and has read way more than I have of his works.

All right, then I'll take it if no one else has claimed it, Marie. I'm thinking it would make a good b-day gift. :-)

Excellent! I'll get it shipped out to you Tuesday or Wednesday. Is your address still on Peach Ave? That's what I have in my address book. :)

Thanks, Marie! Yes, still on Peach.

I can pay you either PayPal or by check. I can mail the check out ASAP. With PayPal, I don't think I have much money in that account (I don't keep much on there)...so you'd have to wait for me to transfer money into it. Which would you prefer? Either is fine with me.

P.S. There's no hurry. So just ship 'em whenever. :-)

Either's fine, but if you want to do PayPal I'd have to go figure out what email address I use for it... I don't use it much. ;)

LOL Then I think I'll do a check. It sounds easier on both our parts! Haha! You still on Kenwood?
