*snerk*

Tabloids and tabloid-style reporting make me laugh.

Kate Middleton Pregnancy Rumors intensify.

(First of all, why are they still calling her Kate Middleton? How about Dutchess Catherine? Kate Windsor? Also, and this I honestly don't get - someone with more knowledge of royal titles enlighten me - if William is a prince, why isn't she a princess? I know he's a duke too, but you'd think the higher title would trump...?)

ANYWAY. This is funny:

Pregnancy rumours began earlier this month after the couple visited Denmark. The Duke of Cambridge gave his wife numerous meaningful looks, according to reporters who were there.

Royal watchers also took note that at one point, William put out his arm, as if to help her.

Because heaven forbid a man give his wife his arm, much less give her "meaningful looks." *headdesk*

And here I thought being a Brit gave you secret knowledge about this sort of thing. ;)

I've done a lot of reading about the royal families (past and present), and I understand why Phillip was never given the honorary title of King. I *think* Diana was officially a princess because Charles was Prince of Wales, which is ... different than just being a prince. But then I get lost. =P

This confuses me also... So, when Charles becomes King, then Prince William will become Prince of Wales? And Kate will be a Princess like Diana was?

Yes, this! I was actually reading about her title yesterday. On Wikipedia. But, yes, her title is Princess William. How weird is that?!

Also, in regard to your entry: LOL!

Yep ... there can only be one Prince of Wales at a time.

(However I have NO idea why there is a Prince of Wales to begin with, and not also a Prince of All the Other Places.)
