Ya’ll, I saw Breaking Dawn.

And chestnutcurls, I (mentally, because I'm a wimp) shouted “Lord, I need a drink!” within the first thirty seconds, just for you. :D
  • Alice’s hair… why? I mean, it’s cute. It’s adorable on her. But SHE HAD ICONIC HAIR. Why totally change a character’s look with no explanation? And it’s not like vampire hair grows back.
  • I am still Team Charlie forever. “I’m a cop. I know things. Like how to use a gun.”
  • Also Team Billy. “SPARKLING firewater!”
  • Aww, they used Iron & Wine’s Flightless Bird again. I love that song.
  • Can I please have Bella’s going away dress?
  • Movie!Seth is almost as adorable as book!Seth.
  • “It wasn’t an idea, it was more of a snide comment.”
And in conclusion, the lady in front of me in line had her 3 yr-old son with her. The lady behind me brought her 4 year-old niece because “Twilight is her favorite thing EVER!” What I wanted to, but did not say: Lady, you know that this is the part where they get married and have the sexy tiems and make a DEMON BABY THAT ALMOST KILLS BELLA and you get to see a c-section vampire-style, ie, EDWARD GNAWING THE BABY OUT WITH HIS ***TEETH***. I mean, it was done fairly tastefully and all, but what has been seen cannot be unseen.

Yeah, so. There’s that.

I'm reeeaaally tempted to see Breaking Dawn out of sheer curiosity (and certainty that I'd get a good laugh). I'll probably wait for it to come out on disc. And I will not show it to my toddler! :-O People.

I think this movie wins on two fronts: Twilight fans love it, everyone else gets to watch it for the lolz!

(I'm a mixture of both. I like it, but at the same time, it is ridiculous. But that's okay. Because I can like ridiculous stuff. :))

Oh, exactly! Ridiculous stuff is great. And this comes from someone who never misses a season of The Bachelor/ette. ;)

Confession: I used to watch Bridezillas at the gym until I realized it just made want to punch people. So now I watch ... America's Next Top Model. OR What Not To Wear. Or Iron Chef, but then I just get hungry(er).

Ahaha. *high five*

Iron Chef is seriously great, though. Mmmm, food.

I love Charlie's deadpan, "I know, I look hot," comment when Bella sees him in his tux. And his stuttering reaction when she tells him she's going to a "health spa" - nice way to tie that back to Bella's stuttering when Edward tells her to go to Florida so he can't hurt her again, in Twilight.

There was a little girl behind us Saturday night who was completely scandalized by the honeymoon parts. When Edward came into the room while Bella was looking at the bed she screeched, "IS THAT HER HUSBAND???" :-D

Oh, golly. I kind of loved the first Twilight movie because it was so over-the-top cheesy and dramatic. When they cleaned it up for the second movie, I just wasn't as excited. By movie three, I had almost completely lost interest. I'm thinking I won't even see this one, as I HATED the book. But I enjoyed your comments. :)
